Change Vehicle
Step 1:
Run the wire harness from the Headache Rack between the cab and the body.
Step 2:
On the back of the truck, unplug the 7-Way Plug.
Step 3:
Insert the 7-Way Plug from the modular wire harness, to the back of the truck.
Step 4:
Reattach the existing 7-Way Plug into the second port of the modular wire harness.
Step 5:
Run wire harness from back to front using zip-ties to secure it to the frame of the truck body. (Secure where the harness won’t get rubbed, chaffed, or cut.)
Step 6:
Attach the modular wire harness to the Headache Rack wire harness. Wrap the connection with electrical tape to secure connection.
Step 7:
Wrap excess harness and zip-tie to a secure, hidden, spot.
Step 8:
Check the lights to make sure they work properly.
